It's difficult for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The highest peaks have been successfully scaled.

This is the squad that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, along with six more T20 titles, and previously enjoyed nearly four years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, targeted by the achievement hunters, are what's still available for a squad that has achieved everything.

That it took up to Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the highest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, frankly, a compliment to the bowlers that have sported the yellow jersey over the past 50 years.

It's difficult for their batsmen to possess a record if not provided the possibility.

Some will argue the argument supporting championship match pressure. Others can counter with the test that comes when facing a record target and a loud pro-India audience of 20,000.

What's definite is this hundred was far harder to predict.

"The possibility to go out there and face the challenge with her and just have a bit of fun in that regard, somewhat inspired me," stated Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 pitches - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her ton in 84 deliveries while she attacked short-pitched balls, hitting 21 fours and three sixes.

When she was removed the team needed 66 more at one run per ball - a manageable total now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the assurance to achieve that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it another time but, should it happen, we are confident we can do it."

Those words will be the last competing nations at this championship want to hear.

In recent days a belief they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this triumph following victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before an encounter with traditional opponents England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may probably be guaranteed.
